The floral backdrop for these portraits was a showstopper. The intricate bodice of the dress against the yellows and greens felt simultaneously lush and editorial.
What I kept returning to during this portion of the workshop was how much a bride’s quiet moments deserve as much attention as the dramatic ones. Shooting solo bridal portraits through a veil, watching the way fabric diffuses light, noticing how a body language shift can completely change the emotional register of a frame… This is the work that sharpens your storytelling. And then the groom stepped into the frame. I was reminded that the best photographs often feel less like poses and more like permission. You can feel this fully, and I’ll be here to catch it.
